The requirements of Regulation (EU) 2024/590 mandate the elimination of halogenated agents in fire extinguishing systems by 31 December 2025.
R&R DOA, the Design Organisation of R&R CONSULTING, holds a Change to Type Certificate (Change to TC) approved under EASA Part-21J, covering the installation of halon-free fire extinguishers in the cabins of Bombardier Dash-8  aircraft.
To date, we are the only European organisation holding this specific approval, enabling us to deliver a turnkey Engineering Order, fully compliant with Part-21J, without requiring any external STC or recourse to the OEM.
